Research Process

When looking at the research question, it was very important to use not only scholarly sources but also historical literature to make sure the material stayed educational. The main goal was to gather reliable information from these historians with all different viewpoints about the American Revolution and the evolution of independence.

Why Multiple Perspectives Were Important

As said before, not all historians agree about the true impact of the American Revolution. As some scholars argue the Revolution created democracy and expanded liberty, other scholars believe man Amercinan were excluded from those freedoms. Researching both views can gain a better understanding of what this topic really means, and helps create  a more balanced understanding of the topic as a whole.
